You can never have enough clues about what Apple might have up its sleeve for its nextiPhone.

The latest tidbit comes in the form of a domain name — iphone5.com — for which Apple has filed a claim with the World Intellectual Property Organization. to date, Apple’s smartphone line has counted up only to theiPhone 4S, but the company is widely believed to be getting ready to bring aniPhone 5 into the world.

Of course, ahead of the iPhone 4S launch last fall, a good many people expected that device would be the 5 model. by way of comparison, Apple’s latest tablet was generally expected to be the iPad 3, but ended up being called just the new iPad.

IRA Financial Group Tax Attorney Featured on CBS News

Miami, FL (PRWEB) May 18, 2012

On May 16, 2012, Adam Bergman, a tax attorney with the IRA Financial Group was featured on WINK CBS News, Fort Myers, FL regarding the ability to use retirement funds, such as an IRA and 401(k) Plan, to buy real estate tax-free. The story focused on a client of IRA Financial group, Mike Aranda, who had tremendous success using his retirement funds to buy real estate in the Ft Myers area. The story focused on Mr. Arandas past experience on Wall Street and how he was able to use a self...

While there are no specifications to be gleaned here, the WIPO filing does at least suggest that Apple is considering the iPhone 5 name for the next iteration of its market-defining device. or perhaps it just wishes to take that domain out of play, regardless of what it calls the device.

In its current state, iPhone5.com is a forum site, created in February 2008, according to the WhoIs record. its copyright statement clearly indicates that it is “not endorsed, sponsored, nor otherwise affiliated with Apple” and that it was created “for the sole purpose of entertainment and knowledge.”

And apparently at least some of the denizens of the site like it just fine that way. Worried that if Apple were to take control the site would be shut down, a commenter named Morphius wrote today: “we as members here before the 4s was even released at iphone5.com should stand our ground against Apple. we have every right to be a fan of the iPhone and to talk and discuss about it. THEY WIILL NOT SHUT US DOWN!!!!!

The bare-minimum WIPO filing page does not indicate when Apple filed its complaint, although the case number D2012-0951 does indicate that it might have been sometime this year. It does say, under the heading decision, “Case active.”

Like many companies, Apple has done battle before to take possession of domain names in a quest to protect the good name of its products. In November, for instance, having filed a complaint with the WIPO, Apple was able to take control of seven “iPhone” domain names, including the straightforward iphone4s.com and the more prurient iphonesex4s.com.

For speculation about what the iPhone 5 (or whatever it ends up being called) might feature, check out CNET’s regularly updated “iPhone 5 rumor roundup.” among the latest reports are claims that the next iPhone will have a 4-inch screen and a thinner, taller body.

Apple is widely expected to deliver the iPhone 5 sometime this year.

We’ve requested comment from Apple and will update this story when we get a response.

iPhone 5 Will Be Taller, Have 4 Inch Screen

Posted: May 7, 2012

There are a lot of iPhone 5 rumors circulating online (we have certainly reported on a number of them here at the Inquisitr) and it is sometimes hard to tell truth from fiction. This is especially true when dealing with Apple, which zealously maintains its secrecy.

The Inquisitr has previously reported on rumors that the next-generation iPhone, the tentatively named iPhone 5, will feature a larger screen to match those of the leading Android devices. Now those rumors have a little more meat to them, given recent developments in Apple’s iPad line of tablet computers.

The new iPad features an LTE radio for high speed internet, which seems to indicate that Apple has hopped onto the 4G bandwagon. This is why the newest iPad from Cupertino actually weighs in heavier than the iPad 2 and is slightly, yet not noticeably, thicker.

There doesn’t seem much of a chance that Apple will stop at adding 4G to its tablets while forgoing the iPhone, its flagship product, and the inclusion of LTE is in itself the surest sign that the handset’s screen will grow in its next iteration.

Wired’s GadgetLab blog summarized the latest thinkingby Apple fanblog iLounge as follows:  ”it all comes down to LTE. LTE radios take up more room in a smartphone than 3G radios and use more power. To put LTE capabilities in the next iPhone, you need to make room not just for the radio, but find enough juice to power it without significantly decreasing battery life.”

“The problem is there’s just not a lot of room inside an iPhone for anything more than is already there…Over the past five generations, Apple has packed in everything that makes up an iPhone about as densely as possible…If it’s going to fit anything else, Apple needs to make more room.”

In order to maintain current levels of battery life and make space to include the electricity gulping LTE radio, the iPhone is going to have to get bigger in some way.

There’s been a lot of talk over the last couple of years that with the iPhone 5, Apple would bump the display up to a larger four inches, but the rumor’s always had a lot of problems. Increasing the iPhone’s display while maintaining its current 3:2 aspect ratio would make the device wider in the hand and harder to operate one-handed. it would also either decrease the pixel density of the iPhone’s Retina display, making it less “retina-ey” and more jaggy to the eyes, or require more pixels per inch to compensate, causing iPhone developers to design their apps for multiple resolutions (the exact same kind of fragmentation problem that’s bitten Android on its ass). No good.

That’s why conventional wisdom (until a couple months ago) was that Apple would keep a 3.5-inch display and eschew LTE until the radios were sufficiently small and power-efficient to fit into the current iPhone’s form factor. But with the new iPad’s WiFi + 4G release, Apple has made it abundantly clear that it is finally ready to embrace LTE. And the way the company is going to do it is by making the iPhone’s display longer, but not wider.

The next-gen iPhone, claims iLounge, will also feature a smaller dock connecter, making your 3rd party accessories obsolete. Let’s hope that one isn’t true.

Apple wants iphone5.com domain handed over

Computerworld – Apple is disputing ownership of the iphone5.com domain, sparking speculation that the company will use the long-rumored name for its next smartphone.

The Cupertino, Calif. electronics maker has filed a claim with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a United Nations agency that arbitrates Web domain disputes in cases of “cybersquatting,” naming iphone5.com as the target.

The domain is currently active and hosts a discussion forum devoted to smartphones. It’s unclear who owns iphone5.com since the domain, which was activated in early 2008, was registered anonymously. But it may have an Australian connection: The domain registrar which assigned the URL is based in that country.

Fusible first reported Apple’s claim on Sunday.

Others, including MacRumors, speculated that the move may have been prompted by the constant use of the “iPhone 5″ label by bloggers and the press to describe Apple’s next model.

Last fall, prior to the introduction of the iPhone 4S, most everyone pegged the upcoming iteration as the iPhone 5. that tag has persisted this year, as talk of the 2012 version heats up.

Apple has gone to the WIPO well numerous times to gain control of domains it believes infringe its trademarks.

In November 2011, the company filed a claim — ultimately successful — to acquire iphone4s.com and seven other URLs, all with the “iphone” name, and several of which included phrases such as “porn,” “sex” and “xxx.”

iphone4s.com currently redirects browsers to Apple’s iPhone page.

Other domains involved in active, Apple-initiated claims now before WIPO include itunes.net, appplemusic.com and applestor.com.

iphone5.com’s owners did not immediately reply to a request for comment submitted through the website.

iPhone 5 Release Date: Why Apple’s Next iPhone Launch Could Be The Most Important One Till Date

“We believe this concern is overblown,” Shope wrote. “While some carriers will attempt to reduce the subsidy burden and tighten upgrade policies, many more will likely hold steady to capture share from the latter camp. in the end, all carriers are attempting to migrate their installed bases from feature phones to data-centric smartphones, and amid this transition, we think the risk of losing market share in the iPhone sub-segment is likely to be too great to ignore.”

“On a shorter-term basis, we believe the building rhetoric for lower subsidies and tighter upgrade policies is likely to fade to a whimper, as vendors prepare their marketing strategies for the iPhone 5 refresh later this year.” The analyst added.

According to a report in iDownloadBlog, Shope's calculation about the next iPhone launch might just be right considering “all of the expectations that Apple has to live up to”.

A Radical Makeover: It's hard to predict whether Apple will consider a significant revamp of its flagship smartphone with the release of the device's upcoming iteration. But expectations of millions of Apple fans around the world are definitely high, waiting for something unique from the company.

When it comes to the existing iPhone 4S, people didn't experience anything new from the device's look as it was pretty much identical to its predecessor, the iPhone 4. and that has probably paved the way for growing rumors that Apple will bring some change to the form factor of its next-gen iPhone.

“Obviously, with the help of Siri, the holidays and other factors, the device still sold in record numbers. But if you think that Apple will be able to pull that off again – release another iPhone 4-like handset with a minor spec bump – you're high,” the iDownloadBlog report said.

Convince Users to Upgrade and Switch: Over the last six months, Apple has managed to sale more iPhone 4S units than it has of any other iPhone unit ever before. Therefore, according to the report, the iPhone-maker will have to convince either the users of other devices – Samsung, BlackBerry, etc. – to switch to the new iPhone, or the current owners of iPhones to upgrade. “And at this point, that's a pretty tall order,” said the report.

The Investors: As the report pointed out, Apple investors are already unsteady about the company's “ability to keep up its ridiculous growth pace.” given that Apple's market cap is more than double than what it was a year ago, there's even more pressure on the Cupertino tech giant to deliver a hit once again.

What could be The New Features in iPhone 5?

As Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets said, the next-gen iPhone could sport a 4-inch display, contrary to earlier reports of a large 4.6-inch and 3.5-inch screen. Some other sources also said that the device would sport Quantum Dot LED curved glass edge-to-edge display with 1280 x 720 resolutions (367ppi).

Smart Apple iPhone 4S Review Philippines : Postpaid Plans and Prepaid Price, Design, iOS, Camera, Video, Siri, Verdict

TechPinas Reviews Apple iPhone 4Sby mark of TPIn a few words: “Apple iPhone 4S is the best smartphone Apple has released so far – both in terms of hardware and software. aside from running what I call ‘the most mature operating system out there with the smoothest interface and the richest ecosystem’, the handset – wrapped in a gorgeous glass and metal enclosure – also has one of the best smartphone cameras I’ve tested.”Overview: Announced in an event in Cupertino CA October last year, iPhone 4S is the latest iteration to Apple’s smartphone, which is quite inarguably the most successful in the world. This fresh release runs the latest iOS5 operating system with a dual core Apple A5 processor – similar to what powers iPad2 and features a full HD video recorder and an 8 MegaPixel camera with CMOS backside illuminated sensor that’s capable of capturing 73% more light and is 1/3 faster than the sensor of the previous iPhone in snapping photos. Software-wise, (aside from giving users all the latest iOS5 features) iPhone 4S also has Siri, a voice-powered virtual assistant that gets things done just by asking. you can ask Siri all kinds of stuff, like where the nearest restaurant is or what’s the capital of the Philippines. you can even ask Siri to read your messages to you and to define words!on December 16, 2011, Smart Communications officially announced that Apple’s most amazing iPhone is finally with “the Philippines’ most amazing network”. but more than making the phone available to its millions of subscribers across the archipelago, the Smart-er iPhone also means that Filipinos can now take a bite of the latest Apple gadget at prices that agree with any budget. in fact, it came as a surprise to many that Smart is offering the high-end handset at such affordable plans. the device can be purchased for as low as P999 per month on plan 999 and is available for free at iPhone plan 2499. For Smart subscribers who would like a taste of the Apple lifestyle without a monthly bill or a contract, iPhone 4S 16GB is also available for only Php 33,200 on prepaid. Strengths:1. gorgeous design and solid construction2. Mature operating system3. the best applications4. still camera that performs very well in not so well-lit conditions5. Powerful full HD 1080p video camera6. gorgeous Retina Display7. fast and Reliable Internet Service from Smart NetworkPoints for improvement:1. Small display2. rather short uptime3. Hardware FragilityDesign and Ports:apple iphone 4sThe face flaunts the phone’s 3.5-inch 960 x 640 resolution LED-backlit IPS TFT Retina display, which – thanks to its ultra-tight pixel density – is one of the clearest – if not the clearest – out there; This you’d have to actually see to appreciate. above the screen, we have the earpiece, the secondary VGA camera, and the proximity and ambient light sensors. below, you’ll find the solitary home button.apple iphone 4sOn the right side, we’ll find the SIM card slot with the tray, and the pinhole for releasing it.apple iphone 4sThe left side has the silent or mute switch, and the volume up and down buttons.apple iphone 4sAt the top panel, we have the Power button, which also works as a Screen on/off switch, and the 3.5 mm audio jack.apple iphone 4sAt the rear, we’ll find the microphone, the connector slot, and the speaker, in that order.apple iphone 4sFinally, the back flaunts the lens for the 8 MegaPixel camera and the full HD 1080p video recorder, the LED flash, and of course, the Apple logo.TP Design Verdict: Apple iPhone 4S is expensive and its design reflects that. the ‘real metal band sandwiched by two sheets of scratch-resistant glass‘ construction exudes elegance and corporate sophistication. Handsome, gorgeous, beautiful; this phone is worthy of all those positive adjectives.but that doesn’t mean the design leaves little to be desired. as an owner of Samsung Galaxy Note and HTC Sensation, I don’t just feel that iPhone 4S’ display and overall build is small, I think it’s very small; it follows that the virtual keyboard feels cramped, the keys too small. also, while I like the springy feedback I get when pressing the Home button, the volume controls and the power button feel just a tad too stiff. Finally, like almost all things beautiful, glass-clad iPhone 4S feels so fragile – like it can slip from your grasp if you aren’t careful and break in a million pieces – that getting a rubber bumper for it is almost a requirement.Key Strengths: Software, Applications, ImagingLike what I often way, iOS is the most mature mobile operating system out there. When I say mature it doesn’t just mean that the platform has the most refined user interface – that’s already a given – but also, that it has richest ecosystem with good developers creating the best applications for consumers who are willing to spend money on them. While it lacks the rich customization options of Android, iPhone 4S’ iOS5 operating system nonetheless has the sleekest page and panel transitions and practically the best games you can get on a mobile platform. Add to this the enhancements that come with iOS5 refresh including Notification Center, Twitter integration, iMessage, and Newsstand, and you get a mobile OS to beat. oh, and there’s also iCloud, which aside from giving you additional storage space (in a way making up for the lack of a microSD card slot), lets you access your content on all your iDevices.apple iphone 4sSafari browser on iOS5 feels noticeably faster than the previous version. Opera Mini, however, remains to be the best browser for iOS in terms of speed. Just telling it like it is.The CameraIf there’s any new iPhone 4S feature that totally impressed me, it must be the camera. the handset comes with an 8 MegaPixel camera with advanced optics created by Sony and a backlit sensor that’s made to perform extremely well in low-light conditions. I tell you, it’s really good. but don’t take my word for it. Here are a few shots I took using Apple iPhone 4S with automatic settings and in various lighting conditions;now, I don’t know about you, but I think the image quality of these shots can almost rival what we can get from a full-fledged point-and-shoot digicam. I particularly like that first shot – the one with the cookies. it was taken in a low-light setting and I’m quite surprised with how well it turned out. I guess users can really rely on that backlit sensor to do its thing in dim environments — even when taking full HD videos; Dual AntennaA bit of history: One of the biggest problems faced by iPhone 4S’ predecessor was the ‘antennagate’ issue; a reception problem caused by gap in the metal band around the phone which also serves as its antenna. When the two sections of the band are bridged by the hand of the user, reception issues occur. Initially, then Apple CEO Steve Jobs simply accused users of holding the iPhone 4 the wrong way and showed the correct way to do it. Eventually though, following a deluge of complaints from users, Apple offered either a full refund or a free bumper case to solve the problem.Fast forward: Apple iPhone 4S effectively addressed this issue by having dual antennas and by intelligently switching between them for better reception. also, two metal gaps have been placed near the top of the phone so they’re out of the way when you hold the handset — these gaps have, in fact, become a distinguishing design detail of the iPhone 4S. thanks to this antenna improvement, data can now be downloaded up to twice as fast.Battery LifeI get only around 8 hours of uptime with iPhone 4S with regular use and just a little over 5 hours of web-browsing on Wifi. Clearly, battery life isn’t one of the strengths of this handset – but at least there are ways to get around it. First, you can turn off Wifi, Bluetooth, and Mobile Data if you don’t need them. And second, you can get an extended battery pack like BoostCase, which promises to double the uptime of your iPhone. More about that case on TP soon.SiriSiri is a voice-powered virtual assistant for iPhone 4S, which answers your questions and accomplishes tasks for you. you turn it on via Settings and activate it by long pressing on the home button. in the Philippines, Siri will answer all basic to encyclopedia-level questions, send messages, make calls, but can’t really help you with location-based queries or services. Largely because of this and the fact that Siri doesn’t work when the phone is not connected to the internet and rarely if at all gets my dictation correctly, I think it’s more of a gimmick than anything — for now, at least.Smart iPhone 4S Postpaid Plans and Prepaid PricesSmart Communications currently offers very competitive – and as such, very attractive – iPhone 4S plans and prepaid bundles.Prepaid PricesSmart iPhone 4S 16GB prepaid – Php 33,200Smart iPhone 4S 32GB prepaid – Php 38,200Smart iPhone 4S 64GB prepaid – Php 43,200Smart iPhone plan 999 with Php 999 add on per month for two years, I think, is very sulit* (*Filipino term for cost-efficient or offers great value for money). That’s practically just Php 24,000 for the 16GB unit itself if you’re going to look at the other Php 999 as monthly payment for the bundled services, which include 100 minutes of calls, 40 SMS and 250MB of mobile data. Not bad at all, don’t you think?TP Verdict:All things considered, I’ll give it a 9.8 out of 10. Because really, it’s an amazing handset; a landmark of a device. I would have given it a 10 had its dispay been bigger or had Siri supported location-based services in the Philippines. I mean, come on, Apple! the Philippines is the undisputed Texting and Social Networking Capital of the World. Your loyal Filipino fans deserve so much more than that.TechPinas Smartphone Technical Specs Table (TSTST) Name Apple iPhone 4S Type Slate Form Factor (Full Touchscreen) Price Category High-End (Flagship Release) Dimensions115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm Weight 140 grams Available Colors Black, White Operating System iOS 5 Display 3.5 inches (~326 ppi pixel density), 960-by-640-pixel resolution, LED-backlit IPS TFT Retina display capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 800:1 contrast ratio (typical), 500 cd/m2 max brightness (typical) Processor Dual Core 1 GHz Apple A5 Processor Camera 8 MegaPixels with autofocus and LED flash, VGA front facing camera Video Capture 1080p full HD, 30 frames per second Audio and Video Playback Audio formats supported: AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), HE-AAC, MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX+), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAVVideo formats supported: H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format Ports 3.5 mm audio jack, 30-pin dock connector Connectivity CDMA EV-DO Rev. a (800, 1900 MHz)4, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n 2.4GHz only), Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology, UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz) Network 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, 3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 Memory 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options, non-expandable Sensors Accelerometer, Digital Compass, Proximity, 3-axis Gyroscope Battery Li-Po 1420mAh Uptime Talk time: up to 8 hours on 3G, up to 14 hours on 2G (GSM)Standby time: up to 200 hoursInternet use: up to 6 hours on 3G, up to 9 hours on Wi-FiVideo playback: up to 10 hoursAudio playback: up to 40 hours Value-Added Features Dual-core CPU, 2x as fast at CPU tasks. also dual-core graphics. up to 7x faster in the previous iPhone. New York, NY (PRWEB) February 14, 2012

Apple Plans App Store, iTunes Overhauls for 2012: Apple will redesign iTunes, its digital music, movie, television, and app store, for the first time in three years, according to a report at 9 to 5 Mac. the new design is said to emphasize new easy-to-understand interactive features. the Cupertino, Calif., company is already talking with music labels and other entertainment companies about the new service, which is described as a “more engaging experience.” the redesigned music store will likely be done over to compete with newer streaming services like Spotify. As for the App Store wing of iTunes, the redesign is said to be geared toward improving accessibility. It’s currently difficult for users to sift through the hundreds of thousands of apps in the store, and a new design could make it both easier to find what you’re looking for and easier to discover new apps you haven’t heard of.

Two Recent Bad News Items That Are Good Signals For Equity Investors

Despite a lot of negative press, there are several indicators to suggest that the economy continues to make positive progress. Of course, much of this new is often ignored, particularly since the bad news brings a lot of relevance and warning during this period where one would expect only positive news. Overall, this suggests that investors should be looking at adjusting their strategies to accommodate some of this concealed positive information. Here are two good news items worth considering:

Apple iPad 3 to be Announced Next Month : 8 Things We Know So Far!

If information recently fed by industry insiders to various online publications were to be believed, Apple fans should have a field day next month!According to them, the Cupertino-company is already set to announce Apple iPad 3, the latest iteration to the popular iOS-powered tablet line, via an exclusive event on March 7, 2012 — that’s less than 30 days from now.apple ipad 3But what can we expect from the new iPad? What new features will it have? The thing with upcoming Apple products is you never really know what they’re going to be like until they get officially announced. And the same goes iPad3; so far, everything that we know about the slate are but speculations and supposed leaks from Apple insiders.Let me do a quick round-up:1. There are insider reports stating that there’s a shortage of Retina Display coming from Apple’s current display suppliers, LG and Samsung. And, as if reinforcing this claim, Forbes recently posted a story about Apple’s hunt for a new display supplier, which ended with Sharp. Quoting Forbes, “Apple and Sharp together have a modified IGZO (indium, gallium, zinc) technology to achieve 330 dpi, which is sufficient for an HD display while not using IPS nor having to include dual-bar LED backlighting. in our view, this should lead to several design advantages, namely the device can be thinner, battery life should be longer, and the overall experience for users should be meaningfully improved.” so will Apple call this new screen ‘Retina Display’ still? Well, that remains to be seen.2. in November 2011, Korea Times reported that iPad3 will run on the new Apple A6 processor, which – interestingly enough – will be manufactured by Samsung despite on-going legal battles with Apple. some insiders are saying that A6 will be a quad-core processor with slightly faster clock speed than Apple A5.3. last year, CNET hinted that iPad3 will support LTE connectivity via its Qualcomm 4G LTE Gobi 4000 chip. if you’re not yet familiar with LTE, it’s the latest in radio platform technology allowing operators to deliver speeds of up to a whopping 100 Mbits/second — far-higher than what subscribers can get from even HSPA+. (As mentioned on TP earlier, this should be interesting Smart Communications as the company has just announced its LTE service, which will be publicly available soon. Smart iPad3-LTE bundles, anyone?!)4. Photos of iPad3 parts leaked via TheiPadGuide show that the new tablet will have a smaller dock connector compared to its two predecessors. (I’m not so sure about this, really.)5. According to IBTimes, Apple iPad3 will have a thicker shell compared to iPad2. Quoting the site, “iPad 3 back panel hints at a slightly thicker profile, approximately 1 mm thicker than its predecessor. the iPad 2 was only 88 mm deep, but the slightly expanded form is likely intended to house Apple’s upgraded components, including a bigger battery, an improved camera, and a dual-LED lit system to make the 2048 x 1536 display even brighter. By adding a second LED bar into its next-gen tablet, Apple also managed to solve a puzzling problem involving heat dissipation and battery consumption.”6. some tech bloggers are speculating that both iPhone5 and iPad3 will come with NFC support. For those who aren’t familiar with this technology, NFC is a technology that allows devices to connect and interact with each other simply by tapping. There are already smartphones and other devices out in the market that has an NFC chip like Nokia N9 and BlackBerry Bold 9900 so Apple is already playing catch-up in this department.7. likewise, there are some tech-bloggers who are reporting that the next-generation iPad will come with a higher resolution camera, 128GB of storage for one variant, a ThunderBolt port, a new light-weight carbon fiber enclosure and a microSD card slot. Aside from the camera improvement, the other features mentioned don’t seem likely, I think.8. According to sources of Taiwanese tech website, Digitimes, there will be two versions of the iPad that will be released this year; One will target the high-end segment while the other is in the midrange price category. the two new iPad models, they say, will both run on an Apple A6 processor – with yet to be disclosed features – but the high-end model will come with a high resolution screen (2048×1536) and the mid-tier model will sport the same display as iPad 2 (1024×768).Again, these are but rumors and speculations and that, at the end of the day, only Apple knows for sure how iPad3 looks and what its technical specifications are exactly.
